The origins of Kahlua are shrouded in mystique and legend: the liqueur has been made in Mexico for as long as anyone can recall but the name actually suggests Arabic origins. In fact the previous label design featured a turbaned man smoking a pipe under a Moorish archway. Under the ownership of Californian entrepreneur Jules Berman, Kahlua was transformed from an obsure Mexican drink into one of the world`s biggest selling liqueurs in just 15 years.
